Papay Glaywulu, a senior at Adams State, won the men's triple jump title with a wind-legal effort of 53 feet (16.15m) in the opening round at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Glaywulu became the first Adams State male competitor to capture the triple jump crown since Carlton Lavong in 2014, a title that was later vacated based on a ruling by the NCAA Committee on Infractions.
