COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Click here to view the second Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) indoor track & field release of the 2010-11 season. The mid-week release includes a list of upcoming meets that RMAC squads will be competing in, and a look at preseason league polls.

The Adams State men’s and women’s squads will join a host of league schools in Golden, Colo. on Friday for the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Extravaganza. In addition ASC and the host Orediggers, squads from CSU-Pueblo, Mesa State, Metro State, UC-Colorado Springs and Western State will be present to open their seasons.

Other RMAC teams will be in action at the Chadron State Alumni Meet & Multi, including the host Eagles and Nebraska-Kearney.

The Adams State men defending Divison II indoor champions were picked in a tie for first in the league preseason poll, earning 10 points and three first-place votes, identical to the numbers garnered by co-favorite Nebraska-Kearney.

Meanwhile, the Adams State women were a runaway pick as the league favorite, garnering nine points and all nine first-place votes possible (coaches could not vote for their own team).
